My dog, Sue Jung, is officially five years old. (!) I adopted her when I lived in Korea after months of debating whether or not I really wanted to have a dog in my life (back story on Sue Jung).
Since then, she has been one of my favorite travel buddies (where permitted).
- In Korea, I took her to a beach in Pohang, she joined me on a road trip (Parts 1, 2, 3, and 4) , and she joined me on a hiking trip (which I just realized I have yet to post about–hopefully coming soon?)
- When I left Korea, she flew with me, and I learned about flying with a dog on international flights. She also flew with me, again, when I left Texas.
- Our lives in the States are fairly low-key, with trips to dog parks and beaches (yet another post I need to write), but she did join me on a roadtrip to the Grand Canyon.
I can’t believe it has been five years, and I am in awe with how much I have been able to do in that time. I can’t wait to find out what the future holds for us.
Happy Birthday, Sue Jung!
